Sutton and East Surrey Water serves 650,000 customers across a supply area of 322 square miles (834 sq km), extending from Morden, Sutton and South Croydon in the north to Gatwick Airport in the south and from Cobham, Leatherhead and Dorking in the west to Edenbridge and Bough Beech in the east.

Groundwater supplies provide 85 per cent of our water, with 15 per cent being extracted from one reservoir at Bough Beech.

If customers have an old cistern e.g. not dual flush, we advise them to fill a 500ml drinking bottle with water and submerge it in the cistern.  If it still flushes efficiently it is worth checking whether a second bottle can be added.
