South East Water supplies 1.5 million customers with an average 400 million litres of water each day across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.

The company has three strategic surface reservoirs in Sussex and Kent, and also abstracts water supplies from rivers in its supply area. However, the vast majority of its water – around 70% - comes from underground sources.
